Environmental Advocacy Reports

As part of college course work, I wrote three advocacy reports on the subject of neonicotinoid pesticides. This series project required simulating in-house reviews for Bayer Crop Science, The Bird Conservancy and the EPA Office of Prevention Pesticides and Toxic Substances.  

The purpose of the reviews were to offer recommendations to avoid giving opposition organizations ammunition to attack and discredit each organization's publicized messages.  In each case, the organization's publicized positions were analyzed to determine how certain writing methods helped and in some cases hindered their overall message. 

The reports required research and comparison of peer reviewed studies, media articles and the organization's own publications.
