I am seeking positions where I can use my skills in technical writing, content creation, editing, public relations work, proposal writing, journalism or other parts of the mosaic of writing disciplines. This website provides a sampler of different works.
Experiences
I started work on a light table as a lithographer and
then onto to a local newspaper group where I continued in the camera room. Here I also was first published, offering feature articles during holidays.
While in the Navy, I wrote a series of service women’s features for a base newsletter, plus short stories, and prose poetry pieces, mostly for myself. When transferred to Seattle, I took a turn into photography and graphic design until the end of my enlistment.
I continued working as a photographer professionally after leaving Washington, owning my own studio. Then while nursing a broken foot, I rediscovered writing . I wrote over 30 short stories and novelettes over the next few years. The more I worked with it, the more I wanted to learn. This hunger for more training led me to finishing college as a writing major.
Present Work
I presently write articles on birding and backyard habitats. See my Hubpages articles at the Hubpages.com link to my home page.

Education
I have completed an Associate in
Art and a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing with a minor in Creative Writing.
Outlook
Each day is a new page to be written; another addition to
the mosaic.
Welcome to my portfolio. I look forward to hearing from you.
